These are worlds finest handcrafted skateboards. This 48" deck is fashioned reminiscent of an era that found wood to be the cutting edge in surfboard construction. The dark wood stringers of Black Walnut or Mahogany are glued up with a matching nose block and hard Maple filling. Flex and rocker are achieved by sandwiching these hardwoods with a thin sheet of aircraft ply, setting in rocker once glued together. Complementing this package are 9" wide, Independent 166 Silverstage 7 trucks; considered by many to be the worlds finest constructed trucks. Smoke 65mm Hyper Wheels (the best urethane compound we've found to date) are set in motion with superior PleasureTool ABEC 7 Bearings. The wheel assembly is bolted down with wedge pads to enhance maneuvering and double vibra pads smooth out the ride, creating a package that is truly classic.
